Lovely Armor Bronze bookends depict a boy climbing an embankment to escape a leaping frog. Titled "The Intruder", each piece is 7 1/2" high and 4" wide, and is signed "S. Morani 1915." Salvatore Morani was an American born artist who lived from 1879 until 1947. The Armor Bronze company was in business under various names in various locations from the 1890's until 1946.
These bookends are in excellent condition with a wonderful, original patina and no breaks or dents. They have the original felt and company tags on the bottom
